OUR MISSION STATEMENT: “FULFILLED CHILDREN, SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES”.
KiMAP believes that when the basic needs of children are fulfilled, a sound foundation is laid that creates sustainable communities. Children need healthy food, clothing, and education as a basic foundation. Many children today and especially in the developing world have no hope of ever enjoying these basic benefits unless someone lends a helping hand. If such children can be assisted, they are likely to grow with a sound mentality that the world is not a bad place to be after all. They grow knowing that the able in society assist the weak. And the weak when thus assisted and become able also help others. When this cycle is repeated long enough, it eventually creates a self-sustaining community. Eventually, it is very likely that less and less resources will be needed for such vulnerable communities in years to come. Further advantages will be less crime, less drugs and less social challenges. It therefore becomes beneficial to the governing authorities and the citizens at large.
True community sustainability comes only when the next generation, regardless of gender, race, color, language, nationality or tribe are given an equal opportunity at life’s dinner table and more so to the vulnerable and marginalized. What the able and well to do may consider as “crumbs” and “pocket change” can actually become very beneficial to such children. KMAP is willing to receive even the crumbs and pocket change and evenly share it out to the vulnerable children in our communities.
To achieve this, every able person and corporation are invited to join us on this noble path.
