St Ann Kenol School is located in Kenol town of Murang’a County Kenya. The School is run by the Community Initiative for Self Empowerment, a non-profit making organization.
The school has both primary and secondary schools which share a compound. The primary (grade 1 to grade 8) was established in January 2010 followed by the high school (form 1 to form 4) in January 2017.

Purchase of Text Books
In 2019, Every Child Counts- USA supported St Anne Kenol School with text books worth about 5,000 dollars. The text books covered Grade 4-8. The textbooks have gone a long way in boosting the academic performance in St Anne Kenol School.
Purchase of four 10,000 liters plastic tanks
In January 2021, Every Child Counts- USA supported St Anne Kenol School with four (4) plastic tanks each with a capacity of 10,000 litres. This project has cost 3,000 dollars.
According to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health in Kenya, schools are supposed to have enough clean water for hand washing and cleaning in order to slow down the spread of coronavirus. Previously, St Anne Kenol School did not have enough water storage tanks.
The plastic tanks will be used to harvest rainwater for hand washing, cooking and other uses.
Funding to purchase the plastic tanks was obtained from Every Child Counts-USA.
