We have successfully onboarded Grade 10 pupils to senior secondary school under Kenya’s new Curriculum, the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) framework.This transition marks a significant milestone in the learners’ academic journey. The CBC system focuses on developing competencies, nurturing talents, strengthening critical thinking, and equipping students with practical skills for real-world application. It shifts emphasis from purely exam-based evaluation to holistic growth and career-oriented learning.
Under the senior secondary structure, learners are now aligned to pathways that match their strengths, interests, and future aspirations. These include: Arts and Sports Science,Social Sciences and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). This structure allows students to specialize early, build expertise in their chosen areas, and prepare more effectively for higher education and career opportunities.
We are proud of our learners for successfully completing their junior secondary phase and stepping confidently into senior secondary education. Their resilience, determination, and hard work continue to inspire us.
