St. Anne is the newest addition to our school feeding program among the four schools. This program will support 60 needy students from Kenol town in Muranga County, providing them with nutritious meals that are essential for their growth, health, and academic success.
Before the implementation of the school feeding, St Anne’s faced significant challenges related to student well-being and academic performance as many pupils come from vulnerable backgrounds. The lack of a reliable source of nutritious meals also contributed to difficulties in focusing during classes, leading to lower academic achievement.
The balanced diet provided through this program will address any nutritional deficiencies, promoting overall health and well-being. This program will also reduce absenteeism as students are motivated to attend school.
