We are thrilled to announce the commencement of a new classroom block construction at Waitua Primary School. This exciting development comes as a response to the growing need for additional space due to a significant increase in school enrolment. In recent years, the school has experienced a notable increase in enrollment that was largely attributed to the success of our school feeding program, which has greatly enhanced the well-being and attendance of the students.
The introduction of the Junior Secondary School (J.S.S) by the government of Kenya has also contributed to the need for more classrooms. The existing facilities have become increasingly congested with the increasing number of students. This new classroom block, generously funded by Every Child Counts Inc. will provide additional classrooms, alleviating the current congestion and creating a more conducive learning environment for our students.
This development will enhance the learning environment, allowing for more effective teaching and a better student educational experience. The additional space will accommodate the growing number of students and ensure a comfortable and conducive setting for their studies.
The project has already generated excitement and optimism within the community. Improved educational facilities are a cornerstone for community development, leading to better educational outcomes and a brighter future for our children.
